Before Virgo season ends | forever grateful for how my 39th year kicked off + all the inspiring things this year brings.

I’ve always hated my birthday. Hated being the center of attention. Hated the idea of celebrating me.

The first and only year I was excited & truly celebrated my birthday was when I turned 36. I had relocated to MI 2 weeks prior & threw a party for all my Chicagoans to join me at my new cabin in the woods. I was mentally the strongest I’d ever been & more content in my life than ever before.

39. The strongest I’ve ever been in my life; mentally, physically + spiritually.

Balanced, grounded and beyond content with this simple little life I’ve built for myself 🙏

1am wake up call, 2 hr drive, hiking in pitch black for 1.5 hours to the 1,717 meter summit of Mt Batur; guided only by stars, the 🌙 & a tiny flashlight.
